Audience Story

Turns your expertise into stories the media will actually publish.

The storytelling and narrative-development engine that turns your point of view into content worth publishing.

Audience Story is the narrative-development engine. It turns the strategy layer into bylines and opinion articles, and it underpins narrative strategy, pitch development and content creation.

The 6As are a checklist and a sequence. They force the right questions before a word is written, so every piece has a defined audience, a credible voice, and a real editorial angle.

It exists because clients want to write about themselves, “look at me”, or sell directly, “buy this”, and neither works in editorial PR. Even subtle self-referential phrases such as “here at XYZ Corp” usually get pulled.

At the centre of the Argument sits the North Star: the single best number that carries the message, ideally a measure of the problem rather than the solution. Around it sit supporting stars, all drawn from the client’s approved facts and figures rather than invented.

Audience Story writes the article. Pitches sells it.

The 6A Method: Audience, Action, Arc, Argument, Authority and Attention.
The 6As, the storytelling engine at the heart of Full Funnel PR.

The 6As

Audience
Who are we talking to? Named and specific, not “brands”. The industry is not an audience.
Action
What should they do or think? It has to survive the question, is this secretly a pitch?
Arc
What is the wider change or context? The Arc is the gravitational field the story lives inside. All good stories contain tension and conflict: winners and losers, past against future, old against new.
Argument
Where is the proof? A real, approved North Star number. The combination of head and heart is what makes an article land.
Authority
Why trust this person? A real vantage point, proportionate to the claim, in the spokesperson’s own voice.
Attention
What is the hook, and when? A specific, datable trigger.
