Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. The only non-essential cookies are Google Analytics, and they are not loaded at all unless you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics script is downloaded and no analytics cookie is set.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key ffpr-consent so the banner does not reappear on every page. That value never leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage will bring the banner back, letting you change your mind.

Analytics

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 records aggregate, non-identifying information: which pages are read, roughly where visitors are, and which sites they came from. IP addresses are anonymised, and advertising and personalisation signals are switched off. It is used only to understand which writing is useful.

The readiness check

The readiness check is scored entirely in your browser. Your answers to the fifteen questions are never transmitted, never stored, and never seen by anyone but you. You can take it as many times as you like without leaving a trace.

If you ask for the PDF, you give an email address. At that point three things are recorded: the address itself, your three category percentages, and your overall band. Your individual answers are still not sent. The percentages are recorded so that any reply is about your actual result rather than a blank greeting.

That address is held on a private database in the EU, used only so that Matt Phillips can reply to you about your result, and is never added to a mailing list, sold, rented or shared. Ask at any time and it will be deleted. The PDF itself is built on your own device, so it reaches you whether or not that record succeeds.

The Press Release Drafter

The Press Release Drafter is a separate Full Funnel PR application, embedded on this site. Unlike the readiness check, what you type into it does leave your browser, because that is how it produces an assessment and a draft.

What you submit, your company name, your name, your email address and your answers about the announcement, is sent to that application. It uses Anthropic’s Claude API to assess the story and write a draft. The brief and the draft are then sent to Matt Phillips as an email draft and saved to a private Notion database, so he can follow up with you.

Only submit information you are content to share. Do not enter anything confidential or market-sensitive that you would not be happy discussing. The brief is used to help you with the story and to reply to you. It is not sold, rented or shared for marketing, and it will be deleted on request.

Other personal data

There is no general contact form on this site. If you email, call, message on WhatsApp or book a call, the contents of that conversation are held in the relevant service and used only to reply to you. Bookings are handled by cal.com, whose own privacy notice applies to what you enter there.

Nothing collected here is sold, rented or shared for marketing.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email matt@fullfunnelpr.com and it will be handled. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
